Savarese & Associates, PLLC, is a Gulf Coast-based law firm located in Gulfport, Mississippi. THE FIRM

The Firm is engaged in a diversified general civil practice in all State and Federal Courts in Mississippi, the Mississippi Gaming Commission, and the United States Supreme Court, with an emphasis on the representation of business owners in the private sector and individuals.

The Firm helps individuals setup new businesses, both for-profit (such as LLCs) and 501(c)(3) non-profits. Additionally, we assist landowners when the government takes their property through eminent domain. Other areas of law handled by the Firm include construction law, general litigation, probate, estate planning, will drafting, mediation, lemon law vehicle warranty claims, public bid disputes, civil litigation appeals, contract drafting/interpretation/negotiation, business formation services, business litigation, debt collection, and casino licensing/site approval applications before the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Jason is rated “A/V Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating for attorneys. Fewer than five percent (5%) of attorneys achieve this rating. EXCELLENCE

Attorney Jason Savarese earned his A.A., with Special Honors, at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College; his B.A., Cum Laude, from the University of Mississippi; and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Jason is admitted to practice before all state courts in Mississippi, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, the Mississippi Gaming Commission, and the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and past president of the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association.

While at Ole Miss, Jason was elected the President of the Interfraternity Council and President of the Gorove Society of International Law. He served on the International Law Moot Court Team and the Associated Student Body, and is a member of Phi Delta Phi, Phi Theta Kappa, Golden Key International Honor Society, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Order of Omega. Jason serves on various non-profit boards of directors. He has clerked with the United States Department of Justice and served as Research Counsel for the National Sea Grant Law Center. Jason’s practice focuses on business law, commercial litigation, corporate law, construction disputes, contract drafting and litigation, land owners’ rights, trademark registration, eminent domain defense, consumer rights, lemon law vehicle warranty claims, nonprofit and for-profit corporate formation, estate planning, probate, casino site development, mediation, arbitration, and the drafting of wills, powers of attorney and advanced healthcare directives.

Jason is a member of the Harrison County Bar Association, former chairman of the Public Service Committee for the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division, and past-president of the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association. Jason has worked for the United States Department of Justice, and received a criminal justice degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, a political science degree from the University of Mississippi, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. In 2010, Jason was named Young Lawyer of the Year by the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association. Jason was also part of the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum, Class of 2015. He is certified by the NRA, and approved by the States of Louisiana and Mississippi, as a Pistol Instructor. Jason currently serves as the Membership Chairman for the Spanish Trail District of the Boy Scouts of America, Vice President of the Mississippi Alpha House Corporation of Phi Kappa Psi, Inc., Finance Chairman of his church, and Secretary for the Gulfport Business Club.
